Employee experience (EX) efforts often begin in the line of business (LOB) with early programs designed and executed at the LOB director level or below. HR champions EX scalability across the organization but relies on a strategic partnership with IT to engineer how EX transformation will happen. IT reshapes digital access and the data strategy by first rebuilding digital access for remote and hybrid work and then resuming ownership of operational data and unifying it for common analysis between organizational stakeholders.
